....Upon distribution of the initial Blue Collar Browns Backers newsletter a problem arose pertaining to specific members of the chapter.
....There is a concern among many of the Blue Collar Browns Backers chapter members that salaried/management Blue Collar Browns Backers chapter members should not be permitted continued acceptance/membership in the Blue Collar Browns Backers chapter. Of a current enrollment of thirty-one members, three are of this classification.
....A vote was requested by a member of the Blue Collar Browns Backers. The intent or purpose of the vote was to establish whether the members of the chapter, that are salaried/management members of the chapter should be granted continuing membership or have membership revolked. Though not the entire membership voted, the number that were present to vote, voted to have the members removed from the chapter.
....Officers of the Blue Collar Browns Backers met to determine if such act was/is warranted. At which time all final decisions were delayed and guidance was sought from the Cleveland Browns and Browns Backers Worldwide.
....Citing the policies of the Browns Backers Worldwide, we, the Blue Collar Browns Backers have no just cause in seeking removal of the said members. Also citing the chapter, the Blue Collar Browns Backers have no set guidelines or policies in place for members. The Cleveland Browns organization has instructed the officers of the Blue Collar Browns Backers to set forth guidelines in conjunction with the Cleveland Browns/Browns Backers Worldwide.
....Furthermore, the Cleveland Browns and/or Browns Backers Worldwide will not condone such acts and additionally will not recognize the chapter of the Blue Collar Browns Backers if the chapter violates the criteria mandated by the Browns Backers Worldwide by-laws.
....The Blue Collar Browns Backers shall recognize and accept the criteria mandated by the Cleveland Browns and the Browns Backers Worldwide . The Blue Collar Browns Backers have the right to establish their specific chapter guidelines and use such guidelines. All chapter criteria mandates that the chapter must not discriminate against any member or potential member. The criteria set forth by the chapter is required to be in place, documented, and distributed to chapter members.
....Present members of the Blue Collar Browns Backers are in good standing and are in no violation of Rules and Policies. Removal of said members is unwarranted and such action is closed.
....The Blue Collar Browns Backers are striving for a fun, event filled chapter among its members. The chapter does not wish for any member to terminate their membership due to conflict. Due to possible miscommunication, the officers of the Blue Collar Browns Backers have at this time and this one specific time only refunded dues to its members that requested to terminate their membership with the Blue Collar Browns Backers.
